Chin-Woo Tan received the M.A. degree in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). He has been with the Partners for Advanced Transit and Highways (PATH), UC Berkeley, Richmond, CA, for more than ten years and has consulted with Siemens TTB and PINC Solutions, both in Berkeley. He has taught electrical engineering courses at UC Berkeley, The University of California at Davis, and San Jose State University, San Jose, CA. His research interests include signal processing, estimation, navigation, intelligent transportation, and nonlinear dynamics.
